It's 2006 ... Do you know where your Greenhouse Gases are?

While Climate Change is silently ignored in Washington, GHG is a growing concern for investors and business executives

Climate change and greenhouse gases may not be on the USA Administrative and legislative agendas, but they are a legitimate concern for investors and business executives. Greenhouse gas emissions pose a significant risk to the economic growth and the risk profile of the companies. Just looking at the articles in the January 4 edition of the GreenBiz daily newsletter (see links below), climate change and greenhouse gases are a popular discussion item.

Bottom line:  if you don't have a reliable and somewhat accurate estimate of your greenhouse gas emissions, you are not properly managing risk and liability for your company. The tools to track, accumulate, and report out your greenhouse gas emissions exist. I suggest you deploy those tools to understand how your greenhouse gas emissions could affect what and where you manufacture your products.
