Environmental Compliance Case Study Slides from Auditing Roundtable Event

Co-sponsored by ACHMM and NAEM, this spring’s Auditing Roundtable event, “Doing more with Less” was recently held in Boston.  The event’s topic was selected based on input from members regarding the increasing trend of reduced staff resources and budgets and an increase in responsibilities for EHS departments. Three speakers gave presentations on how they implemented Environmental Health and Safety programs aimed at making the function of EHS professionals less labor intensive and more efficient. 

Doug Hatler from Enviance was one of these 3 speakers who gave a great presentation entitled, “Leveraging Innovative Technologies for Environmental Compliance and Management”.  He cited 3 case studies on how they used Enviance’s software as a service delivery model to add value to their EHS endeavors:

1. Shaw Environmental and how they helped one of their retail clients with auditing and inspections,
2. U.S. Coast Guard on implementing an ISO 14001 solution, and
3. Sanofi Pasteur and Weston Solutions on how they worked together to manage Title V and PAL Compliance.
