BP Closes Alaska North Slope Wells

Environmentalists claim leaks, BP denies any environmental damage

Something smells fishy up in Alaska and it’s not the salmon.  BP recently shut down 12 wells after environmentalists claimed more than 50 were leaking.  The shutdowns come a month after BP confirmed it had received a subpoena from a U.S. grand jury investigating a massive oil leak in Alaska last year.
