| August 30, 2006 | | EU gives warning to auto industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions | In light of the European Union’s warnings, the European and Asian auto industries must cut CO2 emissions from new cars by 3% every year to meet the European target of 25% by 2008 and 2009 for Asian manufacturers.
