Despite controversy Interior Secretary Kempthorne wants to drill oil in the environmentally sensitive Alaska reserve

NDRC video from Robert Redfort on saving Alaska artic from oil drillingHere’s the latest report from MSNBC on Interior Secretary Kempthorne deeming the Alaska oil reserve OK to drill.  The decision has angered many environmental groups, especially after controversies surrounding the BP pipeline and Lake Teshekpuk.

According to the NDRC, drilling in this area would only decrease gas prices one penny.  Watch a great video clip of Robert Redford and his plea to save the Alaska wilderness.

Have a relaxing and safe holiday weekend.
