| August 08, 2007 | | Computerworld interviewed DuPont about their usage of Enviance for automating TRI | Last week, Computerworld published a case study on DuPont. It was great to read about how they are keeping up with the ever changing rules and regulations for EPA reporting - Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) and Title V. It looks like software as a service (SaaS) is gaining even more momentum. Here is what Aldo Morell, DuPont's director of safety, health and environment, had to say in the article: "Morell noted that the EPA changes its environmental reporting rules every year and said that the SaaS approach allows DuPont to stay up to date on its reporting processes without having to go through the pain of modifying or maintaining the application itself. That alone is saving the company hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, he said."
The whole article is great and I encourage you to read it! By Cassandra Darwin cdarwin@enviance.com | | |
