Their meticulous attention to corporate social responsibility conveys well what the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list is about. The best-managed firms today -- in this era when societal expectations of business are rising -- can &lt;b&gt;no longer focus&lt;/b&gt; solely on &lt;b&gt;stockholder return&lt;/b&gt;.
